Vampires Suck Movie Review

Wow, I'm stupid.  I should have done this before.

If you're interested in the books I review recently I have some links for Amazon here.

Princess of the Midnight Ball

Eyes like Stars

*psst* If you like these books, there are sequels.  Check out the Spoilers Page for links to those too. (Just don't read the info boxes because it'll give away what happened in the previous book.)*

And to answer one question: From my understanding, the setting takes place in the past, where there were long skirts and top hats.  However, the writing is very modernized--which kinda throws you off a bit--, so grasping that concept will be a bit confusing.  Though, it also show creativity, I believe.  Annd yeah, Target has Eyes like Stars and the Midnight Ball on their site; Walmart only has Eyes like Stars.  I'm unsure what your retailers have in your local area though, but at least you know that they have them online to order.  :D  Also, I totally added that book to my list.  I'm going to look it up later! Thanks ЯANdOM ЯAWR! Enjoy!

Vampires Suck
(4/5)

Let me lay this out for you. Guys don't like this movie.  So be kind, and just bring your girlfriends, just leave the boys home.  Another thing, if you haven't seen any of the Twlight movies nor read any of the books this movie is not for you.
As expected this didn't exceed expectations.  My expectations were that the movie wouldn't suck--no pun intended--a lot of my time and that it would be humorous yet still carry a plot.  And it did all those things, yet nothing more.
Can I just say that the actors and actress looked better for their parts than the official movies' actors and actress?  Seriously, Jen Proske (Beca Crane), Matt Lanter (Edward Sullen), and Chris Riggi (Jacob White) all looked like the actual characters Stephenie described in her book! Hey! Producers! Give these guys some more jobs, 'cause they rock. (BTW, Chris Riggi is HOT! Ask Pandora, my jaw dropped when he lost the long hair.) Oh and bravo to Diedrich Bader; you never let me down! xD
Movie time was 1 hr and 20 mins--not counting previews, of course.  Not bad. Actually perfect.  Any longer and it would have gotten old.
Humor, humor, humor.  Pretty decent.  If your a fan like Pandora and I, you'll catch the little things too. But over all, they didn't over do it, and the jokes weren't cheesy. So grade A to that. *Haha, like eggs. Ha, grade A. Lolz, oh geez, what's wrong with me?*
Visual effects and stunts.  Hm.  Well, yeah ok, they were basically as good as you can get with a low budget film.  Again, not bad.
Finally, plot was nicely played out, I believe. Mixed it up, but not like too much, only slightly. Gosh, am I making sense? Anyways, very nice!
