By the way,WELCOME ЯANdOM ЯAWR ◊! I'm soo glad that I have a follower who is an artist and an animal rights supporter! Woo!
Okay, back to hair. I believe these methods are a sure-fire way to get beautiful, straight hair for anyone. All of my straightening secrets are revealed here! Oh, and I'm not getting paid to endorse any of these products. So let's get started:
What You Need:
Herbal Essence Dangerously Straight
Remington Hair Straightener
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
Chi Heat Protectant
Paddle Brush and Hair Dryer with a diffuser
Keep in mind, you don't have to use the products suggested. I find these the best though, but if you have anything better or more preferred, go ahead and use it! :)
How-to:
Wash hair with straightening shampoo and conditioner. Simple, simple.
If you plan to use heat, put on some heat protectant; if not, use some smoothing serum. (You can use both if you need to.)
If you already have straight hair or are in a rush and need your hair to dry faster, use a paddle brush and blow dryer with a diffuser. (Using straighteners that dry wet hair, are very harmful to your hair. Anything that you can hear your hair sizzle from, is baaaad!)
In one hand, brush your hair with the bristles pointing out (like the picture above) and the diffuser hovering over it so that the hair between the bristles is getting dried off.
OR you can wait till your hair is dry (or blow dry it dry) and straighten your hair.
Tips:
If you have course, thick, curly hair remember to section off each piece as you straighten. Also, hair like that takes hours to straighten, no matter how fancy the straightener is.
Those who's hair gets crazy greasy after after using heat on their head, use baby powder on the roots of your hair and then brush it out. (The powder absorbs the oils.)
It good to let hair rest every week. So don't wash it for one day. It'll be gross, but the natural oils that your hairs produce restrengthen your hair and keep it from getting that fried look.
Make sure that your smoothing serum or heat protectant has an "anti-frizz" formula in it. If you like to pack on the heat, chances are your hair's going to frizz as the day goes on.
If you use a blow dryer or straightener a ton, make sure you wash your hair with a moisturizer so it doesn't dry out. ☻
If you have any questions just ask! Good luck!
